If you’re a control freak who cannot accept a strong woman, please stop reading here. My desire for a lasting relationship is genuine but I already know I cannot be with you. Bought that ticket, hated the concert!
I am what I am. No guile, no games. No hidden agendas. (Shh! Don't tell anyone but I'm really a softie inside.) I am not an appearance snob but I will snub dishonesty permanently.
Even though I describe myself as average, you will soon learn there’s very little “average” about me. Perfect? No, but definitely not average. I march to my own drummer and prefer this "music" even when it’s a bit off key.
And “slender” is in the eye of the beholder. I wear sizes 8—10. You decide.
I do not argue. Ever.
You will find me open and direct with a slightly offbeat sense of humor; I absolutely refuse to take life in general too seriously. “Stuff” happens but it’s pointless to dwell on “what ifs” and “might have beens.”
A keen wit in others is an absolute must and ranks right up there with not smoking in importance in my book. I thrive on laughter and fast-paced banter while music warms my soul. And I run from negative people as though the Hounds of Hell are on my heels.
Good conversation always trumps television but I do enjoy watching college football (and the Steelers). I also enjoy a “wee bit of the grape” and the occasional Margarita (it took more than a “wee bit” for me to publish this profile originally). Reading, writing, exploring new places, walking and driving my little red car are among the things that give me the most pleasure. (I read "Click and Clack" mostly for the humor though.)
Cook? Yes, I can. But I go to great lengths to avoid cooking just for myself. (Thank heavens for protein bars, good restaurants and the microwave!)
