- I have always found it difficult to write about myself its like going to the bosses office for a performance review where you had to rate yourself but here goes. I am recently divorced and looking for somebody who is HONEST, caring, smart, funny and likes to have a good time. I am loyal, dedicated and go at life 100%. When I commit I am in it for the long haul. I have no issues being honest. If I expect it I should give it. I love to laugh (but haven’t done it for a while) even at my own expense. I am looking for somebody that is comfortable with themselves. I am not interested in drama, or people who think "its all about me". I am shy until I get to know somebody but when I know you watch out, I'll open up. To me it's not about what’s on the outside that matters to me but what’s on the inside. I would like to meet somebody who is down to earth and easy going and can look past a 42 year old body (don’t worry its not that bad) and like or love me for who I am. I don’t have killer abs and I don’t look like a body builder. I could stand to loose 5 pounds but diabetes makes that a daunting task. I like things clean and picked up in my house but if I don’t want to put my shoes away as soon as I take them off then I am ok with that. I am not interested in any one-night stands. I enjoy boating (too bad I need to sell mine), motorcycles, the movies, dinner out and cooking in. Cooking on the grill is my favorite. I can handle shopping. I dont dance but would love to learn. I am ok with whom ever I end up seeing having "girly time" with her friends as I enjoy some "guy time" with mine. I tend to get up early on the weekend to fly planes but would gladly put that aside to spend time in bed with the one I love. I love classic rock but will listen to almost anything as long as I can understand it.. I am also open to other ideas. Don’t knock it until you have tried it. I have a 17-year-old daughter whom I treasure and is the most important person in my life. She lives with her mom and comes as goes as she wishes. I also have a miniature pincher who I adopted from a local no kill shelter. His name is Kaiser and he is a great dog but needs a little training.
It takes me a little while to warm up to new things and dating will be one of them. I haven’t dated for over 21 years and I am out of my comfort zone
